At first glance, Brian Thorpe might seem to be just another spelling-challenged dope. "Whyfore you put him in the col', col' Shrine, Bryan?" you cry plaintively. "Is spelling 'Another' as two separate words really enough to put someone in the Shrine? Have you lowered your standards?" The answers, as always, are "because I can", "maybe" and "what standards?" Mr. Thorpe, who posted his comments to the Resaurus Toys message board, was packaged in the protective plastic bubble here on November 5, 1999 because of the wonderful flair to his idiocy. It's not just thrown out there like the usual schlub. No, he takes the pains to work on the presentation, including elaborate headers, dividing lines, and my favorite non-word ever. Roll tape: Subj: :( I'm not happy about your Quake2 Action figures, Cus they don't look one bit like they are in the game... I'm not happy at all, you Resaurus moldle people have something messed. You over detail the Quake Action Figues, making them look like crap, and nothing like they are in Quake II! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Solution: Make a nother set of action figures, EXACTLY like the Modles in Quake II (note, you can actuly view a full 3D modle of the monsters, and players in quake II, using something like Quake Army Knife) And add some cool deatil! ~~~~~~~~~~A Cool Idea~~~~~~~~~~ Make all the Quake II wepons(including the wepons in Bothadd-on packs) (PLEASE! use the same colors, shapes, and detial from the game!!). Make them interchangeable with both of your quake II Player modles, and I'll buy them ASAP!!! And my vote for funniest unintentional construction of 1999? "Resaurus moldle people". There's something almost charming about it. But charming don't keep you out of the Shrine, buddy. Take your seat.
