The Moron Shrine (4/24/98)

There's a new girl in town, and she's looking GOOD! Alice refs aside, yes, The Messy Canvas, your one-stop shop for rabidly self-published ego-boosting Web content, now includes The Moron Shrine, a place where I can immortalize some of the stupid things I see. And I see a lot of stupid things. Especially online.

As proof of the levels to which discourse has sank in this country, I present as evidence the first two entries in the Moron Shrine, courtesy of mania.com's Buzz Board. While I do enjoy mania.com's articles, even if they're constantly trying to sell overpriced crap to go along with them, the denizens of their Buzz Board are not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Especially the South Park fans.

So that's the Moron Shrine. And that's why it's here. So that we can look upon the online world, and point, and laugh, and blame. Else what's a heaven for?
