According to a stunning report posted by a retired Navy Lt Commander and 28-year veteran of the Defense Department (DoD), the Bush administration’s assurance about finding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq was based on a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) plan to “plant” WMDs inside the country. Nelda Rogers, the Pentagon whistleblower, claims the plan failed when the secret mission was mistakenly taken out by “friendly fire”, the Environmentalists Against War report.
Nelda Rogers is a 28-year veteran debriefer for the DoD. She has become so concerned for her safety that she decided to tell the story about this latest CIA-military fiasco in Iraq. According to Al Martin Raw.com, “Ms Rogers is number two in the chain of command within this DoD special intelligence office. This is a ten-person debriefing unit within the central debriefing office for the Department of Defense."
A US-registered cargo plane loaded with 64 "mercernaries" and various military equipment was impounded Sunday night at Harare International Airport in Zimbabwe "after its owners had made a false declaration of its cargo and crew."
When asked about it on Monday, State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said "We have no indication this aircraft is connected to the U.S. government."
Now, if you look at the press accounts, what's caught people's attention is the US registry of the plane. Specifically, it's registered to a company called Dodson Aviation, which is based in Kansas.
[Dodson] has a South African subsidiary Dodson International Parts SA Ltd (According to their website, "Dodson International Parts SA (Pty) Ltd is the African division of United States based companies Dodson International Parts Inc. and Dodson Aviation. The company was established in 1998 and is based at Wonderboom Airport, Pretoria.") And it was from this subsidiary's hangar at an airport just north of Pretoria that the aforementioned mercenaries boarded the plane.

McALESTER, Okla. - The eighth day of jury selection in Terry Nichols' state murder trial began Wednesday amid revelations that some prospective jurors said they would lie to be selected to possibly convict and sentence the bombing conspirator.
[A] prospective juror said she overheard other possible panelists say they would say anything to get on the jury. The woman was retained on the panel.
"I'll do whatever it takes to get up there," she paraphrased one of them as saying. "I'm going to say what I can to get on the jury. My decision is already made."
She said she overheard three or four jurors make similar comments when more than 350 people summoned for jury duty in the case met for orientation Feb. 23.

The Administration yesterday released the official list of guests who stayed overnight at the White House between June 2002 and December 2003, and among the names are at least three members of Skull and Bones, the secret society that Bush belonged to while at Yale.
Donald Etra, Ken Cohen, and Muhammad Saleh were all members of Skull and Bones, the society that President Bush belonged to — as did his father and grandfather. Democratic hopeful John Kerry was also in the group, which allows only 15 members.
Donald Etra was an attorney for Ralph Nader for three years in early 1970s.
Insurance giant MetLife Inc. said Thursday it has agreed to sell the Sears Tower in Chicago to an unspecified buyer, ending the company's long-standing investment in the nation's tallest skyscraper. Authorities allege Lindauer delivered a letter in early January 2003 to the home of a second cousin, White House Chief of Staff Andrew H. Card Jr., urging the Bush administration to delay military action against Iraq. [...] Law enforcement sources familiar with the case, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said her alleged activities caused no harm to U.S. national security but eventually could have caused damage.
She has not entered pleas in court but told reporters Thursday, "I'm an antiwar activist, and I'm innocent."
A FORMER CIA agent who claims Libya is not responsible for the Lockerbie bombing is being gagged by the US government under state secrecy laws and faces 10 years in prison if he reveals any information about the terrorist attack. . . .
Fuisz, a multi-millionaire businessman and pharmaceutical researcher, was, according to US intelligence sources, the CIA’s key operative in the Syrian capital Damascus during the 1980s where he also had business interests.
One month before a court order was served on him by the US government gagging him from speaking on the grounds of national security, he spoke to US congressional aide Susan Lindauer, telling her he knew the identities of the Lockerbie bombers and claiming they were not Libyan.
Lindauer, shocked by Fuisz’s claims, immediately compiled notes on the meeting which formed the basis of a later sworn affidavit detailing Fuisz’s claims. One month after their conversation, in October 1994, a court in Washington DC issued an order barring him from revealing any information on the grounds of "military and state secrets privilege". [...] Lindauer [says,] "Dr Fuisz has told me that he can identify who orchestrated and executed the bombing. Dr Fuisz has said that he can confirm absolutely that no Libyan national was involved in planning or executing the bombing of PanAm 103, either in any technical or advisory capacity whatsoever." [...] Fuisz told her: “If the [US] government would let me, I could identify the men behind this attack today. I could do the right thing ... I could go into any crowded restaurant and pick out these men ... I can tell you their home addresses ... You won’t find [them] anywhere in Libya. You will only find [them] in Damascus. Details of Fuisz’s gagging have been passed to the United Nations, including UN secretary general Kofi Annan, Russia’s UN ambassador Sergey Lavrov and the Libyan UN ambassador, as well as representatives of France and China.
