For those of you clueless about the show -- where have you been the last nine years?
Mystery Science Theater 3000 is about a guy and two robots in silhouette making fun of crummy movies. Their jokes allude to everything from Aeschylus to The Facts of Life, from Shakespeare to Monty Python, from the Defenestration of Prague to Fleetwood Mac. MST3k, as the kids call it, started out on a local station in Minneapolis in 1988, went to The Comedy Channel/Comedy Central a year later, released a feature film, and now airs on the Sci-Fi Channel Saturdays at 5 and 11pm EST. There were a lot of cast changes along the way too, so don't be confused if you see an older episode (on video) with different people. You can find a dozen or so of the Comedy Central episodes and the feature film on home video at your finer video outlets (and probably Blockbuster, too).
So what makes this MST site different from all the others (98 listed on Yahoo! at last check)? Its main feature is the movie posters and lobby cards from the movies featured on MST -- hundreds of 'em! There are also a number of other MST-related files here that I spruced up and put on the web. Enjoy!
